The robust H-Mode™ design has a high structural capacity on all its sub-components, and as a system there is low risk for damage on the components. The main structural components are made from standard steel plates with no use of high alloy materials. Hence, they are easy to manufacture and assemble.
This compact tie-in system requires limited space and is easy to install on subsea structures which leads to reduced vessel time. Tie-in is operated by a standard type WROV and a set of installation tools.
The termination assembly is the landing and guiding structure enclosing a pipeline end. A sliding guide post receptacle is attached to the main steel plate, in order to engage the guidepost on the porch.
The termination structure is fixed to the hub in axial direction but is free to rotate around the main pipe axis via a pipe swivel arrangement.
